9:00 – 10:00 History of the Southern Terminus Visitor Center – Arch Room Everyone is welcome! Join GATC History Experts to learn more about the A.T. in Georgia, the original terminus at Mt. Oglethorpe and the move of the terminus to its current location on Springer Mountain.
10:00 – 11:30 Nature Journaling Visitor Center – Arch Room None, but you must register so ample materials will be on hand. Find Out More & Register
10:00 – 12:00 Waterfall and East Ridge Loop Hike Check in at the GATC table in the Visitor Center Registration required. Limit of 16 participants. Find Out More & Register

9:00 – 2:00 Sawyer Demonstrations Outdoor area behind Visitor Center Everyone is welcome! Join GATC Certified Sawyers and learn how we clear trees off the trails in Georgia. Try your hand with a crosscut saw at this fun, kid-friendly activity.
