2026 Tag Grant Applications Now Being Accepted
Each year, the ATC uses funds from the sale of Georgia A.T. license plates to provide grants to organizations and individuals who are working to help fulfill the ATC’s mission within the state of Georgia. Applicants may apply for a grant of up to $10,000 to implement a project that will enhance, conserve, protect or maintain the portions of the Appalachian Trail in Georgia. All funds must be spent in Georgia and the grantee must provide a matching contribution of labor, money or in-kind goods equal to at least half the value of the grant.
Please note: All supplemental documents are available within the portal. Be sure to select “Georgia” as the “State served by Project” to generate the correct supporting documents. The deadline to apply is Friday, August 28th, 2026. Please review the Guidelines and Instructions document carefully.
