Why Membership?
Membership in GATC is a great way to give back to the Appalachian Trail and become part of a heritage of conservation that has been going strong for over nine decades.
GATC has built an active membership of people from all walks of life and welcomes anyone who shares GATC’s commitment to the Appalachian Trail and is interested in our club’s mission of preserving it through a variety of activities. Or you may simply want to support GATC’s work to advocate, maintain and improve the A.T. in Georgia. Whatever your level of interest and your ability to contribute to our mission, GATC invites you to join the Georgia Appalachian Trail Club and become part of our team.

There are four types of membership to which you can apply.

Members Guide
The Members Guide will help you learn about the activities of the GATC. For additional information or questions, contact the Membership Director. The Membership Committee does its best to respond to information requests within five days.
Informational Meetings
GATC offers a monthly online informational meeting for new members, or those who want to learn more about the Club, it’s activities and the many ways to give back to the Appalachian Trail in Georgia.
