**Workshop** Invasive Plants

Join us to learn about the most prominent invasive plants to look out for and how to properly remove them. Controlling invasive plants is an important part of protecting the fragile Appalachian mountain ecosystem. After this workshop you’ll be able to join us on group conservation committee work trips to pull or treat these plants and how to manage some of these plants on your own section of the trail. The morning course will be at Lumpkin County Library and we’ll have a field portion in the afternoon to identify some of these plants in person. Lunch will be provided. You must signup to attend as number of participants is limited. If you need additional information, please contact Jason Gotch at mtnbiker364@gmail.com.

To sign up for this workshop, click the Register button below and fill in the Universal Work Trip Sign-up Form with your information.

We look forward to seeing you out on the trail.
