Raven Cliff Falls and Dukes Creek Falls

Spend the morning hiking along Dodd Creek to Raven Cliff Falls. At 5.1 miles out and back, this is a pretty, leafy trail with only 656 feet elevation gain; while the terrain is gentle, the trail is rated moderate because of roots, so we will go at a careful pace – especially if it has been rainy. There’s a chance to get our feet wet in the pool at the falls. Then we’ll drive a short way down the road for a 2.4 mile out-and-back hike on the easy Dukes Creek Trail; this shady trail is mostly a wide graded road and stairs to navigate the modest 341 feet elevation change.

This is planned as a gentle hiking day. Total mileage: 7.5 miles. Total elevation gain: 997 feet. Both trails offer shade and water access to cool off. The parking lots each have restrooms. There is a parking fee unless you have a USFS pass.
