National Trails Day – Trail Maintenance Trip

We’re inviting you to join us for a National Trails Day work trip on Saturday, June 7, and we’d love to have you out on the trail with us.

We’ll be working on Section 7.5 (Tesnatee Gap to Cowrock Mountain). Handling some much-needed brushing, drainage clearing, and tread repair. No experience is necessary, and all tools and training will be provided.

Location: Tesnatee Gap (working about 1/3 mile southbound toward Cowrock)
GPS Coordinates: 34.726, -83.847
What to Bring: Water, sturdy footwear, work gloves (if you have them), and your trail spirit
We Provide: Tools, training, and lunch after the work is done

This is a great chance to meet fellow trail lovers, learn something new, and make a real impact on a section of trail that sees a lot of use. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or this is your first trail project, you’ll be welcome and supported.
