Mid-Week Work Trip – District 2

We’ll be working in a downhill area leading to a stream. The tread has become “braided” over time and the original trail needs to be reestablished. The work area is in section 2.3 at mile marker 2.6 of the Hike Inn trail. We’ll meet in the Hike Inn Parking area at Amicalola Falls State Park. From the parking area we’ll carpool to the trailhead for a 1 mile hike to the work area. Hard hats, sturdy work boots, long pants and work gloves are required for the trip. Extra hard hats and gloves will be available. All necessary tools and a bag trail lunch will be provided.
