Mid-Week Work Trip – District 2

We’ll be working to refurbish Section 2.4.  Work will include check steps, berm removal, creating water dips, installing tread critical edges, removing rocks and roots. The work area is approximately 3/10ths of a mile from the access road. A trail lunch will be provided to all volunteers. You’ll need to bring plenty of water and personal snacks. Hard hats, long pants, work gloves. sturdy shoes or boots are required. Hard hats and gloves will be available to those in need and all necessary hand tools will be provided. Plan on meeting at the Hike Inn Parking area at Amicalola Falls State Park. From the park we’ll carpool to the work site access point. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome!
