GA4000 Flint Knob / Flat Top / Rabun Bald

This 11.5 mile roundtrip hike starts at Beegum Gap (Elev. 3,630 feet). GATC will hike on the Bartram Trail over Rabun Bald (Elev. 4,660 feet) and on to Flat Top (reached by a short bushwhack). At this point, the hike retreats on the Bartram Trail to Flint Gap, and then follows a social trail to Flint Knob. The return re-climbs Rabun Bald making this a long, strenuous hike with over 3000 vertical feet of ascents. Co-leader Andy Renner.
