A.T. Series: Approach Trail

RESCHEDULED – A.T. Series Hike 1 NB starts at the top of Amicalola Falls and proceeds northbound on the A.T. Approach Trail to the summit of Springer Mountain (the Southern Terminus of the A.T.) and on to Springer Gap on FS 42. This moderate/strenuous hike is about 8.6 miles long, has about 3100 vertical feet of ascents, and requires a shuttle.
