A.T. Series: Neel Gap to Hogpen Gap

This Appalachian Trail dayhike starts at Neel Gap (US 19/129), proceeds trail north to Levelland Mountain, Wolf Laurel Top, and Cowrock Mountain. The trail then descends to Tesnatee Gap and goes over Wildcat Mountain before descending to Hogpen Gap at the Richard Russell Scenic Highway.

This is a strenuous hike of about 6.9 miles and has about 2,100 feet of vertical ascent. The hike requires a shuttle.
