A.T. Gateways

February 27 – March 1, 2026

Join Us Starting February 27th
at Amicalola Falls State Park

AT Gateways is a celebration of the Appalachian Trail, bringing together people who love the trail and the trail community. Engaging speakers, exciting vendors and a chance to socialize with other hikers make this an amazing event. On Sunday, the trail community can give back by joining the GATC for a trail maintenance project.

This event is hosted by the Georgia Appalachian Trail Club, Amicalola Falls Lodge and State Park and the Friends of Amicalola Falls State Park.

Speakers

AT Gateways provides education and information for those who have an interest in the Appalachian Trail. Whether you are  a backpacker or day hiker, thru hiker or section hiker, or just someone who in interested in the history and experience of the trail, you are sure to find a presentation to enjoy.

We are already hard at work putting together a wonderful slate of speakers including hiker and author, “Mr. Fabulous” Derick Lugo and AT historian, hiker and trail maintainer, Mills Kelly. Look for a full schedule of speakers to be published in February.

Have a great story to tell?  Want to share your expertise with the hiking community? Send us an email with a summary of your presentation and contact information.
