Third Saturday Work Trip for January

For the Third Saturday work trip for January, we will be working in District 3 which is from Springer Mountain to Hightower Gap. We will meet at 3 Forks for the Safety Briefing and work overview. The walk in to the work area is approximately 0.5 miles on easy trail. Work will include installing checks steps and rehabilitating and building dips and drains. Please bring water for hydration and lunch or snacks as needed. We may be lucky enough to have some of Pat Stelts treats at the end of the day.

Long pants and sturdy shoes or boots are required. Hard hats, work gloves and other safety equipment will be provided for volunteers who need them.  If you need additional information, please contact Bill Bryant at bbryant99@hotmail.com.
