An old favorite comes around again, and it includes great views from two vista summits, Wayah Bald and Siler Bald - all on the AT in NC at or near peak of autumn color.  This 10-miler will be at a moderate pace and includes some of the best mileage of the Southeast's Appalachian Trail.  A fairly long shuttle is necessary.
