This is a 9.6-mile hike on Sections 9 & 10 of the BMT. The first part of the hike is in the Cohutta Wilderness, picking up the BMT at Spanish Oak Gap. After crossing Watson Gap we will be on Section 9 following along the South Fork of the Jacks River where we will intersect with the northern terminus of the Pinhoti Trail.
