This is a 9.6-mile hike on the AT from Hogpen Gap to Chattahoochee Gap and then 2.2 miles on the Jacks Knob Trail to GA 180.  This section has gentle grades and is an excellent long day hike.  We will see the spring at the source of the Chattahoochee River.
