This strenuous 4.4-mile section of the AT is the shortest section of the GATC's AT Series.  However, out and back, it is a total of 8.8 miles.  We will ascend Rocky Mountain (elevation 4,191 feet) twice:  once from Unicoi Gap and once from Indian Grave Gap.
