The 5,000-foot-high summit of Siler Bald boasts a 360-degree view of the Nantahala Mountains and is easily climbed on a quarter mile side trail off the Appalachian Trail. We will meet at Winding Stair Gap where the AT crosses US 64, hike 4.8 miles up to the summit for lunch and return in the afternoon.
