A great time of year for a backpack amid the peak of  thru-hiker season. We will visit both the Low Gap and Blue Mountain Shelters as well as seeing the headwaters of the Chattahoochee River.  We will camp at the site of the former Rocky Knob Shelter campsite at Bly Gap, which will be the targeted location for the overnight stay.
