The Homestead Trail at Red Top Mountain State Park is a scenic 5.5-mile loop trail that meanders along the Lake Allatoona shoreline.  The first 3.5-mile loops around the lake shore with several homesteads along the way.  Overall, this moderate hike has a rolling elevation with a mix of lake views and a forest of pines and hardwoods.
