District 7 Work Trip

District 7 of the A.T. is between Neel Gap and Hogpen Gap.  Specifics of the work trip will be announced in the morning of the event.  In general, you can expect some of the work may consist of berm removal, reestablishing tread and drainage structures, clearing corridors, backslope restoration, root and rock removal, and other basic tasks of a trail maintainer. All necessary tools will be provided on site. Hard hats, sturdy work boots, long pants, and work gloves are required for the trip.  Extra hard hats and gloves will be available.
